Dear Fellow Craven County Republicans,

I am honored to introduce myself as your new chairman of the Craven County Republican Party. My name is Rick Hopkins, and I have been a lifelong member of the Republican party, and champion of conservative values.. I am also a devoted Christian, American Patriot, father and grandfather, and I am committed to ensuring a brighter future for all our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anne, my wife of 51 years, stands by me and supports me in these efforts.

I am excited to lead our party forward and continue the great work of our previous leaders. Together, we can achieve even greater successes and ensure that our conservative values are represented in our community.

As chairman, I have a three-point plan to encourage more Republicans to get involved in our party:

1. Host Regular Events: We will host regular events to bring our party members together, share our ideas, and foster a sense of community. These events will include meet-and-greets with Republican candidates, town hall meetings, and social events. By providing opportunities for our members to connect with each other and with our candidates, we can build a stronger party and encourage more people to get involved.
2. Increase Outreach: We will work to increase our outreach efforts to reach more people in our community. This will include expanding our social media presence, distributing flyers and pamphlets, and hosting community events. We will also focus on reaching out to young voters, who are often overlooked but have the potential to make a significant impact in our elections.
3. Recruit Volunteers: We will actively recruit volunteers to help with our campaigns and events. We will reach out to our party members and encourage them to get involved, and we will also work to reach new people who are interested in supporting our cause. By providing training and support to our volunteers, we can empower them to make a meaningful contribution to our party and our candidates.

As a Republican, you likely believe in conservative values such as limited government, individual freedom, and personal responsibility. We need to ensure that our conservative values are represented in our community, and with your support and involvement, we can make a positive impact in the lives of our fellow citizens.

As chairman, I am committed to supporting Republican candidates and values at all levels of government. I believe that our party has the best ideas and the best candidates, and I am confident that by working together and implementing our three-point plan, we can win elections and make a real difference in the lives of the people we represent.
